Co-Founder/Partner

Marisa is a co-founder and partner of the firm whose practice is primarily focused on family law, appeals, and guardianships of special needs adults. She is experienced in representing clients in both contested and uncontested matters, and is also a trained family law mediator, having completed the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education Family Law Mediation program in 2014.

Prior to entering the private practice of law, Marisa served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Anthony F. Picheca, Jr., J.S.C., Somerset County, Chancery Division – Family Part from 2008-2009. She was recognized from 2015-2021 as a “New Jersey Super Lawyers – Rising Star” in family law. Each year since 2022, she has been selected as a “Super Lawyer.” In 2020, Ms. Lepore Hovanec was selected by the New Jersey Law Journal as one of thirty “New Leaders of the Bar.” In 2024, she was recognized in the “Best Lawyers” edition of U.S. News and World Report.

Marisa is a member of the Family Law Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and an Associate Managing Editor of the esteemed New Jersey Family Lawyer publication. She is also co-chair of the Union County Bar Association Family Law Section, and a Panel Chair of the Supreme Court of New Jersey Fee Arbitration Committee for District XII, Union County. Since 2014, Ms. Lepore Hovanec has served as a panelist for the Union County Matrimonial Early Settlement Program.

Marisa frequently lectures on the topics of family law and divorce, guardianships and appeals. Recent lecture topics have included “Divorce and Bankruptcy,” “Family Law Appellate Practice,” “Guardianship and Your Special Needs Child,” and “Coercive Control in Domestic Violence Matters.” In her spare time, Marisa likes to give back to the community by volunteering with organizations and charities focused on special needs children and adults.

Jayde Divito (Wiener) is a co-founder and partner of the firm whose practice is primarily focused on family law, mediation and litigation. She also has experience handling matters involving the Division of Child Protection and Permanency.

Prior to entering the private practice of law, Jayde served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas J. Walsh, P.J.F.P., Union County, Chancery Division - Family Part. Each year since 2017, Jayde has been recognized as a “New Jersey Super Lawyers – Rising Star” in family law.

Jayde is a member of the Family Law Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Union County Bar Association. Jayde is also a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She gives back to the legal community by serving as a member of the Supreme Court of New Jersey Fee Arbitration Committee for District XII, Union County, and serving as a panelist for the Union County Matrimonial Early Settlement Program.
